Terms of Service

Effective October 4, 2026. By using www.globalwebsitespeedtest.com you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Global Website Speed Test ("the service") is a free tool operated by DevTeam Co., Ltd. that measures the loading speed of public web pages from several regions. We may change, limit or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

2. Acceptable use

  • Only test websites you own, operate or are allowed to test, and only public URLs.
  • Do not use the service to overload, attack or probe third-party systems, or to circumvent rate limits (currently 20 tests per IP address per hour).
  • Do not submit URLs containing personal data, credentials, tokens or illegal content.
  • Automated or bulk use requires our written permission.

3. Results

Results are synthetic lab measurements taken from data-center networks at one moment in time. They vary between runs and may differ from what your visitors experience. They are provided for information only and are not a guarantee or certification of performance.

4. Leaderboard

Listing a site on the leaderboard is optional. By opting in, you confirm you may publish that site's results and you allow us to display its hostname, URL and scores publicly. We may refuse, remove or correct any entry — for example, if it appears manipulated, misleading or unlawful — and the leaderboard resets every month, with past months kept as a public archive.

5. Intellectual property

The service, its design, text and guides belong to DevTeam Co., Ltd. You may quote and share your own test results, and quote our guides with a link to the source.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, DevTeam Co., Ltd. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service or its results.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court in Incheon, Republic of Korea, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
