Leaderboard FAQ
How are websites ranked on the leaderboard?
By score (0–100, highest first), then by average load time across all 8 regions (lowest first). The score is a weighted mix of average load time, average TTFB, slowest-region load time, origin TTFB and repeat-visit caching, clamped to the band of the site's letter grade. Only the top 200 sites of each month are shown.
When does the leaderboard reset?
On the 1st of every month at 00:00 UTC. A test counts toward the month it was run in. Previous months stay available as a read-only archive, so each month has its own final ranking.
Why is my fast site not eligible?
The leaderboard only lists real, finished websites. The first visit must load at least 10 files and transfer at least 100 KB, measured as the median across regions, and at least 6 of the 8 regions must load the page. Nearly empty pages are fast but say nothing about real-world performance.
How do I add or update my site?
Run a test on the homepage with the leaderboard box ticked, or press Add to leaderboard on your result. Within a month, each site keeps only its most recent qualifying test, so re-testing after an improvement updates your entry.
How do I remove my site from the leaderboard?
Send a removal request through the contact page from an address at your domain, or explain how you control the site.
